Editing and securing data
In Intrasis geometries are called GeoObjects. You can have several GeoObjects connected to one single Object at the same time, e.g. if you want to describe a ditch with line(s) and a polygon. You can always edit an existing GeoObject in Edit View or create new ones.
You create and change attribute data in the Object Browser. All edits are logged as Events which you can overview in the Event tab of the Object Browser. Each user of the database has a personal user name and password. There are three different levels of users: Administrator, User and Guest, where the latter just have read-only access to the data.
All data can be stored in the database, also document files. It is easy to create a backup of the project database by using the in-built user backup function. The backup also includes your items stored in the Intrasis data project folder.
